The Anchor is a structured, substance-free transitional residence for adults in a season of change — older adults awaiting independent living, newcomers to Sarnia-Lambton, working adults needing secure interim housing, veterans, and anyone moving toward permanent, sustainable independent housing. We welcome referrals from community agencies, seniors' services, newcomer settlement partners, veteran services, hospital discharge planners, families, and individuals themselves.
Private pay. Room, utilities, and amenity access included; meal plan options.
A few months, a year, or longer — no fixed exit date.
On-site security, case management, and wellness supports.
How to refer
- Confirm the person is comfortable in a substance-free community and able to live independently with minimal day-to-day support.
- Complete the intake form (available on request) with your case notes.
- We'll follow up within two business days to schedule a walk-through.
