The Anchor serves adults who require temporary transitional accommodation and structured support while working toward permanent, sustainable independent housing. The Program provides temporary accommodation with mandatory support programming intended to help participants develop the life skills needed to obtain and retain permanent housing. We welcome referrals from community agencies, seniors' services, newcomer settlement partners, veteran services, hospital discharge planners, families, and individuals themselves.
Private pay. Accommodation, utilities, and amenity access are part of the Program; meal plan options available.
Temporary and individualized, for up to 18 months, with the possibility of earlier transition or discharge based on the participant's Program objectives and participation.
Individualized transition planning, case-management meetings, life-skills and housing-readiness programming, progress reviews, and communal responsibilities.
Continued occupancy is conditional upon meaningful participation in case management, transition planning, life-skills programming and other assigned Program activities.
Admission is not automatic, and is not available solely because a person can pay or because a room is available. Submitting an application does not guarantee admission or occupancy. Referrals and linkages to external community services may be arranged where appropriate to the participant's Transition Plan.
Submit a referral through the application form — we'll follow up within two business days. Submitting an application does not guarantee admission or occupancy.
